Born in San Francisco, raised in Oakland, CA. I had always been interested in the arts, I took dance as a child, took up the violin as a teenager and have always been drawing.

I pursued illustration by recommendation by my high school art teacher, Eric Johnson, whom I wish to thank. I studied traditional illustration at the Academy of Art and graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2006.

My medium of choice is digital, namely Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and Corel Painter. Though I mainly work in digital format, I am trained in traditional media as well.

The name Sweet Outrage was an idea from my friend, Jan. I feel that many of my pieces represent both qualities.
